Mercado Libre goes shopping in Santa Fe

Mercado Libre went shopping again. After acquiring Cordoban Machinalis, with 60 professionals last September, now added two other firms, this time in Santa Fe. It is Kinexo and Kaitzen, which will add another 150 specialists.

Kinexo and Kaitzen were part of the same business group. It started its activity in 2001 offering different software solutions for websites and mobile applications, management systems, corporate portals, integrations, architecture consultancy and chatbots development with different degrees of cognitive intelligence.

With the latest purchases, Mercado Libre has 1,988 professionals in Córdoba, Mendoza, San Luis, Santa Fe and Buenos Aires, out of a total of 3,190 employees of the company in the country.

The company that directs Marcos Galperín has six software development centers: two in Buenos Aires, one in Córdoba, one in San Luis, another in Mendoza and, now, in Santa Fe. Inside, the company has a total of 739 employees, of whom 718 are from IT, which are distributed in: 393 in Córdoba, 21 in Mendoza, 175 in San Luis and 150 in Santa Fe.
