Punjab cops bust ISI-backed terror module

PATIALA: In a breakthrough, Punjab police on Thursday claimed to have busted an ISI-supported terror module in , with the arrest of an operative from whom a hand was seized among other arms.
The accused, identified as of Daftari Wala Burar village in Patiala, was to carry out terror attacks in crowded places, including police stations, and he was to receive Rs 10 lakh for each attack from abroad.

Cops claimed he also had links with New York-based advocacy group (SFJ) and had recently launched Khalistan Gadar Force that was reportedly being backed by the .

The police also seized a pistol, six bullets, a mobile phone and a motorcycle from him. He was produced before a local court, which sent him to five-day police remand.
